Nueva Luz Urban Resource Center is a faith-based holistic health ministry of the New Light Community Church of the Nazarene and an affiliate of the National Council of La Raza, the largest national Latino civil rights and advocacy organization in the United States.

Boxes of Love

Santa Claus visits the Annual Christmas Celebration for the clients of the Nueva Luz and the Proyecto Luz programs and their families. To make this visit even more special for the children, Nueva Luz packs “Boxes of Love,” individual shoe boxes packed with gifts appropriate for the age and gender of the recipient.

You may choose to participate in one of two ways:

(1) Pack individual shoeboxes for children. Wrap the gift and clearly label the outside of the box with gender and age of recipient:

Boy/Girl—Baby, Ages 2-4, Ages 5-8, Ages 9-12 and Teen

(2) Make a monetary donation to offset the cost of filling the shoeboxes with gifts. $$$
